How it is built
- Leg panels are set in 40 mm from each end of the top.
- The modesty panel joins the two legs under the back of the top: screw it to both legs and to the top.
Common mistakes
- Leaving out the modesty panel: without it the desk racks sideways.

What height should a desk be?
730–760 mm (29–30 in) is standard, but the best height is about 39% of your own height. See our standard desk height guide.
How deep should a desk be?
600 mm (24 in) for a laptop or a small monitor, 750 mm (30 in) for large monitors at arm’s length.
Can I add drawers?
Put a drawer unit under one end: our nightstand plan, at 550–700 mm tall, fits under the top.
